When you ask to open a locked item, a waiting period you chose begins. The countdown is anchored to Apple’s iCloud server time, so it can’t be skipped by changing your device clock. Once the wait is over, you confirm with Face ID / passcode and the contents are revealed.
iCloud provides trusted server time for the unlock timer and privately syncs your encrypted notes across your devices. TimeLocked has no server of its own — your data stays in your private iCloud. You can also use the app offline; it syncs once you’re signed in.
No. Your notes are encrypted on your device with a key stored in the device Keychain. We never receive or store your contents. See our Privacy Policy.
For your security the app passcode can’t be recovered by us. Re-installing the app resets the passcode; your encrypted notes stay safe in your private iCloud and re-sync after you set a new passcode and sign in.
TimeLocked Premium unlocks longer pauses and unlimited items. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Use “Restore” on the paywall to recover a previous purchase. Billing is handled by Apple.
